Vanities come in standard widths, so it is easier to think in project prices than in square feet. Typical installed totals for quartz:
Brand-name quartz colours, porcelain and marble tops of the same size run higher in step with their per square foot rates, and every number above includes templating, fabrication and installation. Beyond size, the sink cutout, faucet holes and edge profile move the number, and a matching 4 inch backsplash strip adds $50 to $150. The smallest tops price as a piece, not by the foot: a 24 inch top needs the same template, the same cutting time and the same install visit as a large one, which is why vanity projects start at $550.
An entry Select colour gets the same template, the same seam work and the same level check as a designer slab. Budget decides the stone. It never decides the standard of work.

Quartz vanity tops (engineered stone)
Quartz is the material most Toronto homeowners choose for a vanity: non-porous, so makeup, toothpaste and hair products wipe off without staining, and it never needs sealing. Quartz and engineered stone are two names for the same material.
We fabricate Caesarstone, Silestone, HanStone and MSI, plus our own Stone Wizards Select line, priced direct from the manufacturer. For vanities, quartz is priced per project: $550 to $900 installed for most single-sink tops, $750 to $1,200 for doubles. Porcelain vanity tops
Porcelain brings two things quartz cannot: a slim 12 mm profile and a fired surface that absorbs essentially no water. That suits floating vanities and busy family bathrooms. We work with Dekton and Neolith slabs, including large-format marble-look patterns.
One honest note: porcelain vanity tops are cut from a full slab, so standalone they cost more than quartz, and make the most sense paired with a porcelain kitchen or larger renovation. Marble vanity tops
Marble lives an easier life in a bathroom than in a kitchen: the surface meets water and soap rather than citrus and hot pans, so a vanity is the smartest room for real veining. It still asks for sealing on a schedule and acid-free cleaners. Marble tops are cut from a full slab and priced per project, with your exact number in the quote.

Replacing just the vanity top
Yes, you can replace only the top. If the cabinet is sound, there is no reason to pay for a new vanity: we template the existing cabinet, fabricate the new top and install it 3 to 5 days after templating. This is also the answer if you have been searching for vanity tops only. The top without the cabinet is exactly what we make.
Removal and disposal of the old top is an add-on at $350, and sink and faucet reconnection is $350 for a single vanity or $550 for a double. Both are line items in your quote before work starts. Details on each: countertop removal and plumbing services.
Sink cutouts: undermount, vessel and integrated sinks
We cut for the sink you bring. Undermount is the popular vanity choice: the rim sits under the stone, so water wipes straight into the bowl with nothing to catch grime. Vessel sinks need a small drain cutout and a dead-level deck. Faucet drilling matches your hardware, whether it is a single hole, a 4 inch centreset or an 8 inch widespread
If you do not have a sink yet, we can supply a basic undermount bowl for $90, so the top, the cutout and the sink arrive as one matched set.
Integrated one-piece tops with a moulded bowl are a prefab retail product. In custom stone, the equivalent look is an undermount bowl with a clean silicone joint, and that is the finish most people picture when they say integrated.
Vanity top sizes: standard widths, custom everything
Off-the-shelf tops come in fixed widths of 24, 30, 36, 48, 60 and 72 inches, usually 22 inches deep. We cut to your cabinet and your wall, so anything between or beyond those numbers is a normal order: double sink layouts, banjo tops that extend over the toilet, wider-than-72 double vanities, and the alcove where the tape reads 41 and 3/8 inches wall to wall.
